National Adoption Day

On this day marked to celebrate adoption.

I ask this one thing:  Will you pray for those children that do not know the love of a mother and father.  The one's who by no fault of their own are cast aside.  Those who's parents had no choice because they had nothing else.  Those who's parents did not have the money needed to keep themselves alive, and therefore have left a legacy that will forever follow their children.

All children need love, all children deserve hope.

Will you pray for the orphans of the world... and those desiring to give them a home?

Heavenly Father,

We lift up every boy and girl that does not have a Mommy and Daddy to call their own, that do not have a place to call home, that do not have the safety, warmth and love that parents can provide. We pray that each one of them Father will be placed in the loving, protective hands of people who will absolutely adore them.

We pray for resources, creative ideas and the right connections for parents who need and want children.

We pray a greater awareness of all the children in orphan homes, group homes, foster care and living in other countries that stand in need of Mommy's and Daddy's.

Father you can make a way where there seems to be no way and so we ask that in every aspect of this situation change can be seen that will bless children and adults and glorify You.

We love you Father and we thank You for hearing our prayers and answering according to Your divine will in Jesus Name. Amen.
